Support your lab’s accreditation and your professional development by attending our measurement training courses. Or are you keen to branch into a new testing area? We have a variety of practical courses to choose from depending on the area you need to upskill in.

These practical, hands-on training workshops present real lab situations and demonstrate how to develop new techiques and procedures to ensure constant improvement in your lab.  Our trainers are specialist metrologists, world experts in fact and you have the opportunity to learn from them.  The training won't stop at the door on the way out as our scientists will continue to support course attendees once back in the lab and applying the knowledge.

Our training courses are highly recommended by International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) for personnel with technical responsibilities in metrology and calibration laboratories operating in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and for those seeking accreditation. In addition to the expert advice on how to make reliable measurements the Measurement and Calibration Workshops provide attendees with the knowledge and tools to properly calculate measurement uncertainty and report results.

"MSL’s courses are invaluable for technicians involved in both calibration and maintenance of equipment. The instruction received from experts in their fields is a huge help in learning and understanding the calibration aspects as well as how the equipment works" Carl Jenkin, Fonterra

As well as Fonterra, another one of New Zealand's largest employers sends its staff on our training courses every year.

Go to our Training page to find the course that interests you to get more detail about course content, presenters, venue and dates.  Our registration process is online and easy to navigate.
